Easy Paprika Chicken Drumsticks with Thermomix
(for 2 people)

Ingredients
• 4 chicken thighs (approx. 400 g)
• ½ medium onion
• 1 clove of garlic
• 20 g extra virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
(you can substitute half with smoked or hot paprika if you want more character)
• ½ teaspoon salt
• Black pepper to taste
• 60 g white wine
• 100 g water or vegetable broth
• A sprig of rosemary or a little thyme (optional)
• 1 level teaspoon of 00 flour or rice flour (to thicken the sauce)

Method
1. Sauté
• Place the onion and garlic in the mixing bowl.
• Chop: 5 sec / Speed 5.
• Add the oil and sauté: 3 min / 120°C / Speed 1.
2. Brown the chicken
• Add the chicken thighs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
• Brown: 8 min / 120°C / reverse / Speed 1 (with measuring cup tilted).
3. Deglaze with wine
• Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate:
3 min / Varoma / reverse / Speed 1 (without measuring cup).
4. Cook
• Add water or broth and, if desired, herbs.
• Cook: 25 min / 100°C / reverse / Speed 1 (with measuring cup).
5. Thicken the sauce
• Remove the thighs and keep them warm.
• Dissolve 1 teaspoon of flour in 1 tablespoon of cold water and pour it into the mixing bowl.
• Cook: 3 min / Varoma / Speed 3 (without measuring cup), so the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
• Pour the sauce over the thighs and serve hot.

Extra tip
For a complete meal, you can put diced potatoes in the Varoma while the chicken cooks (same time, 25 min). They will be very tender and flavored by the paprika steam.
